birthday.........and leaves
Well, our "Lukie" turned 12. Sigh. Not that it's not a happy time - we had a fun time as a family celebrating, and we couldn't be more thankful for our oldest son. He's grown into a sensitive and responsible young man - one to be proud of. He's also a lot of fun, with a great sense of humour, loving to see the funny side of things. We also see him growing in his understanding of spiritual things and testifying of his love of the Lord. I love to see the smile on his face when we talk about God's grace around the table. But - doesn't time pass quickly?

However, in contrast to our growing oldest, we still have the littler ones who like to romp in the leaves and giggle over silly things :) Laura does a great job of caring for Corin outside, which is great, b/c he s to be left out of anything that looks like it could be fun!

Isn't fall time beautiful?!!!
